In-app purchases you’ve made will also remain accessible, provided you have your account information.
Is FL Studio Mobile APK Worth It?
In my opinion, FL Studio Mobile APK is definitely worth its price, especially considering it costs just $13.99 on the App Store. For this low price, you get a wide array of instruments, sounds, samples, and other resources to work with. Additionally, once you’ve purchased the app, you’ll get all future updates for free, which is a huge bonus.
That said, there are a few limitations that some users point out. One of the main complaints is its lack of support for AUv3 plugins, something I discussed in my guide on installing FL Studio Mobile plugins. AUv3 is Apple’s audio extension system that many producers use in GarageBand for iOS and macOS.
GarageBand iOS can use a variety of third-party plugins available directly from the App Store, including tools from reputable companies like FabFilter, which creates highly respected plugins like the FabFilter Pro Q EQ. This is one of the most popular EQ plugins on the market, and it’s compatible with GarageBand, but FL Studio Mobile hasn’t yet added support for AUv3.
However, Image-Line has hinted that they are working on AUv3 support, so this could be coming soon. Currently, FL Studio Mobile uses Apple’s Inter-App Audio (IAA) system, which allows audio output from one app to another. For instance, if you have a drum machine app from the App Store, you can integrate it with FL Studio Mobile via IAA. Just keep in mind that the app has to be open in the background for it to work.
This system functions similarly to Loopback Audio, a tool I mentioned in my guide on making reference tracks for mixing. Another feature I love about FL Studio Mobile is the ability to zoom in and out on the playlist, making it much easier to work with than GarageBand iOS. You can easily zoom out for a broad overview or zoom in for precise editing.

One major advantage is that FL Studio Mobile can be used on a desktop as well. It functions either as a plugin or a standalone application. According to Image-Line, you can transfer files between devices regardless of the operating system. The SHARE feature allows you to move your projects between iOS, Android, or any other platform with ease, making cross-platform collaboration much simpler.
